Sometimes it is necessary to take data out of Organise for operational reasons. For instance, requiring a print-out of the data to manage access to a selection meeting.

If you are of the following local role-codes, you can export any audience from the People page and receive an email with a link to download the spreadsheet:

  • CLP Secretary
  • Branch Secretary
  • Vice-chair Membership

The spreadsheet will be sent in a password-protected ZIP file. The password will be your membership number. Most modern devices should be able to automatically unlock this file using the password, but if not, there are many free software programs available online to do this for you (for example, 7-zip).

This data should be exported just when it is needed, stored securely, and deleted afterwards. If you need the data on multiple occasions, you should re-export the latest data every time to make sure it is up to date.

Data exported from Organise should never be used to contact supporters using other means, such as by uploading to different email tools, or calling them over the phone and not using Dialogue.

Using our internal systems to contact supporters ensures we are upholding our legal obligation to respect their communication preferences and always tell them how to change those preferences whenever they hear from us.
